About Shawtec

Shawtec is a family owned WA business operated by Laurie and Michael Shaw. Since opening our doors in 1984, we have built up one of the states largest furniture manufacturing facilities. The success of our company can be attributed to our experienced staff and to the personalised service extended to all our clients. We have been a preferred supplier on the Western Australian Governments Common Use Arrangements for over 10 years - manufacturing and installing well over 20,000 items of furniture to WA Schools and Government Offices.

Our extensive experience and can-do attitude means you'll experience great service, prompt delivery, and the ability to have products tailor-made and designed to suit your exact requirements.

We understand that Schools and Commercial Offices place heavy demands on furniture and fittings, so we build quality and durability into everything we produce. For your convenience, our products are delivered assembled and ready for use. In some instances, larger products may require site assembly, but this is taken care of by the delivery staff.

The latest software tools, robotic technology and CNC machines create high quality products every time. Operator skill combined with our rigorous quality control systems delivers First Class products to you. As a local manufacture, we are able when necessary, to manufacture furniture specifically to your requirements where standard items do not fully meet your needs. We confidently support our products with a 10 year manufacturer's warranty against defective materials or workmanship. We are proud of our reputation for quality products and reliable service.

Ergonomic products designed in consultation with our our Staff Occupational Therapist to suit Australian students. Our products are designed to meet the relevant Australian standards for educational furniture such as AS/NZS 4438, AS/NZ4442 and AS/NZS4610

Shawtec is committed to operating their business in harmony with the environment. As part of our commitment, where possible, materials that are able to be recycled are selected for use in component manufacture.
